Job: Caregiver Position

Eighteen Years of Age or Older

HHA and CNA must have 1 yr minimum of continued experience as a HHA or Nurses Aide or completion of a state HHA or Nurse Aide training program.

Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with clients, families, coworkers, and supervisors.

Ability to accurately follow and process written and verbal instructions.

Satisfactorily demonstrate and perform competency in clinical skills through competency checklist and skills demonstration test.

Minimum score of 85% on competency exam.

Visual and hearing capacities functioning at a level sufficient to provide care needs of clients and the ability to lift and transfer clients in need of assistance.

Current Alabama drivers license, proof of auto insurance, and daily availability of an automobile.
