GENERAL SUMMARY


Serves as guide to facilitate the customer buying experience. Introduces customer to the VICTORY negotiation free process and value statements. Facilitates interview, at customer's pace, to discover customer preferences, needs, and buying motives. Matches customer needs with model and equipment and presents vehicle in terms of customer's interest. Offers and accompanies customer(s) on test drive. Offers customer involvement in trade-in evaluation, presents financial proposition, satisfies customer concerns and asks for the order. Conducts VICTORY delivery process, and follows up in prescribed manner with customers. Follows up with customers after delivery in prescribed VICTORY manner to develop customer loyalty.

Achieving High Standards

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Ensures a high quality effective, and professional experience is provided to every customer following VICTORY sales process.

  • Maintains high ethical standards in daily activities.

  • Develops and achieves challenging individual goals and expectations.

  • Replaces traditional sales language and processes with approved VICTORY terminology and buying experience.

  • Establishes knowledge base of accessory packages available to VICTORY customers.


  • Establishes knowledge base regarding all products, services, customer demographics or profiles, and competitive automotive makes and models.


Working Effectively With Others

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Builds productive working relationships and consults with others as necessary.

  • Has an approachable style; fosters open communication through active listening.

  • Takes initiative to help others as needed.

  • Actively listens to concerns of customers as well as coworkers and takes prompt action to respond to their needs.

  • Speaks clearly, concisely, and effectively; produces accurate and clearly written documentation of services.

  • Follows up with customer to ensure that their needs have been met.

  • Maintains courteous and professional relationships in all situations with VICTORY customers and employees.


Responsible for other duties as assigned and/or required by business need.



Managing Complexity

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Coordinates with service department, body shop, and others to ensure that customer requests are met.

  • Identifies and supports opportunities for methods/process improvement in the sales department.

  • Recommends improvements for the sales department.

  • Understanding and Using Business Knowledge

  • Applies retailing techniques and sales processes.

  • Establishes knowledge base of auto industry competition.

  • Maintains working knowledge of General Motors, finance, lease, and insurance programs.

  • Participates in departmental and VICTORY-wide meetings.


Applying the Basics

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Uses computer to look up and monitor requests.

  • Follows sales processes to ensure standards are met.

  • Maintains a clean, professional environment.

  • References manuals and other documents for information.


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS


  • High School degree or equivalent required

  • Some college preferred

  • Valid driver's license


EXPERIENCE


  • One year in a retail environment preferred
