Duties include:

  • Ensuring that corporate financial statements are accurately stated, following Medicare reimbursement rules according to stated policy and procedure.
  • Knowledge of appropriate general ledger production in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to effectively apply generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Knowledge of computerized accounting environment

Job Requirements are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Two (2) years of general ledger experience
  • Experience with computerized financial packages
  • One (1) to two (2) years supervisory experience desired
  • Experience in home health care accounting desired
  • Experience in purchasing and payroll accounting desired
  • Ability to recognize confidential information and maintain confidentiality
  • Current Alabama driver’s license and automobile liability insurance
