Are you ready to join us as an ASIC/FPGA Verification Manager working for the Central ASIC & FPGA Engineering organization on a program as needed?

YOU WILL:
• Ensure the ASIC & FPGA verification organization is adequately staffed and trained in order to support organizational technical needs. Work with LOBs and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to define, allocate, and track staffing for ASIC & FPGA verification team.

• Identify and propagate design technology selection and best-practices, ensure technical domain expertise of the entire team, drive process and tool development and deployment, resolve critical technical issues, support new business initiatives, ensure standard technical processes are in use on all programs.

• Demonstrate Full Spectrum Leadership behaviors. Advocate mentoring relationships within organization providing career path opportunities for personnel within the department. Direct, coordinate, perform and exercise authority of employee actions: Employee job assignments and rotations, merit planning, growth/promotions, compliance & skills training, and regular performance assessment. Participate and contribute to employee recognition & disciplinary actions.

• Have technical knowledge with System Verilog Coding and UVM (Universal Verification Methodology) testbench development.

YOU WILL TYPICALLY HAVE:
• 8+ years of professional experience for this role.

• You will need to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Proficiency in ASIC & FPGA verification using VHDL or Verilog or SystemVerilog languages.
• Experience with modern verification methodologies such as UVM, OVM or VMM.
• Experience in engineering project management or leadership.
• Experience in program design reviews.
• Willing and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Desired skills
• Project Leadership/Management experience throughout the engineering life cycle: scoping, sizing, cost estimation, planning, scheduling, staffing, tracking.
• Preparation for and participation in major program design reviews (PDR, CDR).
• Subject matter expert in ASIC/FPGA design and development processes.
• Knowledge of SystemVerilog OVM/UVM for independent verification.
• Knowledge of System Verilog Assertions and Close Code Coverage and Functional Coverage
• Experience interfacing with external ASIC/FPGA vendors through full product lifecycle.
• Experience working with EDA vendors in tool selection and production use.
• Experience in presentation, oral and written communication to facilitate effective and efficient interchanges employees, co-workers, leaders, and customers.

Telecommuting Information
The work associated with this position will be performed at the designated Lockheed Martin facility. Situational telecommuting may be considered and authorized at the discretion of your leader and based upon the role.

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Security Clearance Information
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
